Avatar are based in the West Of Scotland, where they have been gigging - mostly in Glasgow - since 2002.

The band's music ranges from soft and jazzy to loud and slightly metallic. It's often described as prog or jazz/rock - check out the MP3 page and decide for yourself.

After a recent songwriting break, the band are currently road-testing the new material and getting ready to start recording again...
